We are holding the Preservation Eastern Spring Networking Mixer on April 4, 2009 at the Leslie Science Center in Ann Arbor, MI from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This event gives current students an opportunity to meet and greet professionals in the fields of Historic Preservation and Urban Planning in a less formal setting while learning about their learn about their job duties, experiences and insights. Appetizers, food and beverages will be provided by Preservation Eastern.
A few important things about the Leslie Science Center:
Directions to the Leslie Science Center can be found at http://www.lesliesnc.org/.
The mixer will take place in the Nature House from 6pm to 9pm. All are welcome to spend time on the grounds and to enjoy the raptor center there.
The Leslie Science Center is part of a non-smoking campus.
This event is free for PE members and Alumni members. Please feel free to bring a spouse or a loved one, and ask them to make a small donation to PE in return! All are welcome to bring wine, beer (please, no liquor) and desserts to pass. We will also be holding our second annual PE Raffle, filled with lots of fun goodies during the Mixer, so make sure to bring your checkbooks!
You could win a night on the town with Dr. Ted (yes, it’s true!), a fantastic antique, a survival pack for your trip to field school, there are many prizes in store! And don’t forget! Ted’s “Charlie the Tuna” lamp will be up again for some lucky person to win! Be part of a new PE tradition and take Charlie home for a year!
These Networking Mixers are an important part of our network of professionals at EMU, and we thank you ahead of time for considering being a part of this wonderful event.
