Orientation - September 5-6, 2008

New Student Orientation is set for Friday, September 5th from 6:00 to 8:00PM at historic Sherzer Hall. It will be held in the fourth floor classroom. Several guests will give their wisps of wisdom on the ins-and-outs of the program, the graduate school, and EMU.

Returning students, as well as our new students, are welcome to join the alumni for their annual “Evening Under the Stars” dessert reception! It starts at 8:00 PM on the roof deck of Sherzer Hall. If conditions are optimal, the Astronomy Department will let us view the sky with their telescope. Spouses and family are welcome.

On Saturday September 6, stop by Bob’s Lakehouse (east of the Student Center) for a potluck meet-and-greet. A great time to socialize with students and faculty, especially our newest professor Dr. Dan Bonenberger. Everyone and their spouses and children are invited. Starts at 1:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM.
