There are several copies that will be raffled off to students. The event is Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Halle Library Auditorium @ 3pm. All are welcome to attend!

The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village:Fieldtrip/Storage Tour: 10/23/10

Preservation Eastern is lucky enough to have the awesome opportunity of getting a tour of the storage facilities at The Henry Ford Museum! The field trip is on Saturday, October 23, 2010 @ 11am. There is space for 30 people to tour the Henry Ford storage facilities, with PE members getting priority. Sign-up with Sarah starting the week of Oct 11 (she will be in Strong Hall before classes start). The group rate for admission is $8 for Greenfield Village and/or $8 for the Museum. Participating in the storage tour is not mandatory, if you just want to enjoy the museum with PE Friends that’s fine! However, your admission fee is required when you sign-up with Sarah. Your money secures your spot and is needed for our reservation. Not a PE member and want to do the tour? $15 for one year or $25 for two, you can sign-up with Sarah for both! The carpool will leave at 10am from the Oakwood South parking lot near Strong Hall; we are expected to check in at the museum no later than 11am.

NOTE!: The gentleman giving the storage tour is going out of his way, on his day off, FOR FREE. If you can, PE is encouraging a few extra bucks in donation to go towards a gift to thank him for the amazing opportunity.

*Family and friends are welcome, but not for the storage tour.
*This event is worth a 1pt. punch on membership cards.

Adopt-A-Family: Fundraising Event: 10/20 & 10/21

To help us start saving now, PE is setting up a table in the Student Center (ground floor) asking for donations and selling our swag. We are starting the process of saving money to go towards adopting a family in need this holiday season! We have the table reserved for both Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21 from noon-2pm both days.

If you are interested in helping to work the table RSVP on facebook and/or contact Sarah Hayes at shayes16@emich.edu

P.E. General Meeting: 10/14/10
